Riverside Park, Week five

The last time we walked at Riverside was February 05, it was a beautiful day with sun and blue sky.  Mike, Tilly, and I went on this walk.  Riverside was open and no flooding on the road to the far end parking lot.

 This is the section of trail that soon we will see many spring wildflowers, Blood Root, Spring Beauty, Purple Cress, Wild Geranium, and many more.  But I can wait, this cool weather is just right.

 Ice fishermen on the little bit of ice on Bass Lake, yikes!  It took eight turns of their ice auger to get through the ice, so I guess they were OK.

Someone was fishing from a boat at the point where Bass Lake meets the Grand River.

 We found some great rocks!

 Tilly went for a swim, she is mostly Black Lab so she loves the water.  Look at her perfert form!  Ha Ha

 Trails were still flooded.

Looking down the Grand River, the sky was a  beautiful blue.

OK now I'm caught up on the Riverside Park visits.  It was fun to see the changes each week.  Fun place to walk.
